Meet Raj Kathuria

Raj Kathuria has lived the American Dream and exemplifies the American spirit.

Born and raised in a lower-middle class family in India, the oldest of three siblings, Raj emigrated to his dream country; AMERICA! Since 1986 he has been living in Howard County. Raj’s brother graduated from Mt Hebron High school and his sister graduated from Oakland Mills High School.

He was the owner of Bistro Blanc in Glenelg. As a small business owner, Raj has had the unique experience and privilege of generating hundreds of jobs in the local area. Raj continues to help, guide and mentor other local businesses and entrepreneurs as a local Realtor focused on small businesses.

Raj recently celebrated his 25th anniversary with his wife, Sangita, and lives with his three kids in Ellicott City. His eldest daughter Shagun is a Junior at Stevenson University, specializing in Digital Marketing. His second daughter, Ishika, is a High School Junior, and his son, Ishaan, goes to Hollifield Elementary.

Raj believes in maintaining diversity in Howard County, and setting a path for all those who want to work hard and follow the rules to achieve the American dream. He believes in ensuring smart & sustainable development in Howard County.
